FIXED DEPARTURES :
It
happens to many tourists, every time we check the planned departures with travel
agents, we find out they don’t coincide with the dates you can travel… this is
why most of your trips can’t be done.
The big
difference about us is that we are tour operators, this means we are the ones
that plan the available dates with the travel agents that work directly with
us…. We need to have revolving and continuous departures to different destines.
This is why we invite you to
write us and ask for the date that is best for you. We are sure we can find the
best one just for you.
You only
need to send us your information mentioning the trip that interests you, the
date you are planning to come and the number of people coming with you.
One can choose from many of the
trips as per their requirement as follows:-

rivers & mountains
Surrounded by the Kullu Valley in the south, Ladakh in the north and Tibet in
the east, the twin valleys of Lahaul and Spiti is a region of nature at its
wildest. This land duplicates, possibly exceeds in many ways, the magical
ambience of Leh, Nubra an d Zanskar valleys. This region remains cut off from
the rest of the world for much of the year. Apart from geographical barriers,
this area was closed, till recently, to visitors because of military and
political reasons. These valleys encompass glaciers, high ridges, broad valleys,
pastures and has a minimum elevation exceeding 3000m. This area is more of a
high altitude cold desert dotted with famous monasteries, villages like little
green oasis in a stark, brown and dry landscape, miles of rolling pastures,
6000m peaks and swollen rivers which turn into mere trickles in winter. Between
the Shivaliks and the Greater Himalayas is found another of India's last
unexplored posts, Kinnaur. Situated on the Old World trade route, its only link
with the outside world is by way of the Hindustan -Tibet road through Shimla.

Here are
some great treks in the Himalaya, from Padum in Ladakh. Lace up those boots
and venture out.
Trip No.1 :
PADUM - DARCHA J&K
| TIME |
SEASON |
LEVEL |
LOCATION |
ROUTE |
| 9 days |
June-Sept |
Easy to moderate |
Lugnak valley,
southeast of Zanskar , to Lahaul in Himachal |
Padum-Shilla Camp-Reru-Changpa
Tsetan-Purne-Phuktal-Purne-Kargyak-Shingo La Base-Ramjak-Pa Lhamo |
| PADUM TO
DARCHA is a fairly easy first trek in the trans-Himalaya. The only
difficult bit you'll come across will be on the day you cross the Shingo
La Pass 5,050 m. But it's not as hard if you start the trek at Padum and
have time to acclimatise. Trekking the other way around is harder, and
also dangerous, because you start at 3,300 m and zoom up to 5,050 m in
the first three days. The lovely route will take you towards Lungnak,
the valley southeast of Zanskar, the historical trade route between
Lahul in Himachal and Zanskar. |
 |
TRIP NO. 2 :
SPITUK -STOK J&K
| TIME |
SEASON |
LEVEL |
LOCATION |
ROUTE |
| 4 / 5 days |
Mid June-late Sept |
Moderate |
Southeast of Leh |
Spituk-Zinghan-Rumbak-Srok La campsite-Stok |
| THE TREK
TRADITIONALLY starts at the bridge over the Indus about a kilometers
west of Spituk village, but you can skip the two hour, not-very-nice
walk to Zingchan if you take the jeepable road that runs nearly all the
way there. Have you taxi drop you to a point opposite Phey village. From
this point onwards it is a charming walk along the descending road along
the Indus. A little beyond Zingchan, you'll find a sign welcoming
you to Hemis NP. The hardest segment of the trek lies between Rumbak and
Stok La campsite , when you'll climb the 4,900m Stok Pass. |
 |
TRIP NO. 3 :
BHRIGU LAKE
Himachal
| TIME |
SEASON |
LEVEL |
LOCATION |
ROUTE |
| 2 TO 4 days |
June-Oct |
Moderate |
Above Manali in the upper
Beas Valley in Kullu Dist. |
Gulaba - Bhrigu Lake -
Gulaba |
| IF YOU'RE
LOOKING for a high altitude trek that can be wrapped up in the very little
time then you must head to Bhrigu Lake. At 4,270m Bhrigu lake can be reached
from Manali. The lake , which is located eight kilometers southeast of the Rohtang Pass, is one of the main lakes of the Kullu area. A natural forest
of fir, spruce, moru and the higher altitudes kharsu oak treek surrounds
Gulaba, from where the trek begins. |
 |
TRIP NO. 4 :
SPITI LEFT BANK HIMACHAL
| TIME |
SEASON |
LEVEL |
LOCATION |
ROUTE |
| 5-7 days |
June-Sept |
Easy to moderate |
Spiti sub division of Lahul
-Spiti Dist. |
Poh-Dhankar-Lalung-Demul-Langza-Tashigong-Kibber - Ladarcha - Kiato |
| THIS SEGMENT OF
Spiti needs at least a week to do it justice. Pressed for time, it can be
managed in less time because a motorable raod connects all the nights halt
points. For the week long trek, it's fairly easy till you attempt the
Langza-Kibber segement on day five. The soft option is to trek down to Kaza.
For tougher trekkers it's a steep descent northeast into the gorge of the
Shilla stream and then an even longer ascent to Tashigong. The climb is
tought but the reward is steeping onto hallowed ground where the Dalai Lamba
camped in 1983. |
 |
TRIP NO. 5 :
JALORI PASS
Himachal
| TIME |
SEASON |
LEVEL |
LOCATION |
ROUTE |
| 3-8 days |
May - Nov |
Easy to moderate |
Lugnak valley, southeast of
Zanskar , to Lahaul in Himachal |

TREKKING IN MARKHA
VALLEY |
The Markha trek is
the most frequently visited trek in Ladakh for many reasons –
endangered and rare Himalayan wildlife, high passes and remote
buddhist villages that are still linked to the outside world
only by trails. You will get glimpses of traditional, Ladakhi
village life and be met by hospitability and friendliness along
the way, before entering into the rough wilderness that
surrounds the two high passes on the trek. |

TREKKING IN THE
LAND OF NOMADS |
A beautiful trek
through the pristine wilderness of the plateau of Chang Tang,
which stretches far into Tibet. This is a real high altitude
trek that will take you across 2 major passes before entering
Rupshu and the land of the Changpa nomads – a people of Tibetan
origin who live in encampments of black yak hair tents, and earn
a living by breeding yaks, sheep and pashmina goats, from whose
soft wool comes the expensive pashmina wool. The highlights of
the trek are the spectacular changing landscape and the nomads. |

TSO MORIRI LAKE
TREK |
The remote land of
Changthang (meaning ‘northland’ in Tibetan) stretches from Tibet
to the extreme northwest of the Kunlun Range. This region, known
as the land of the nomads, will take you by several encampments
of the Changpa nomads and give you an unique opportunity to
have a glimpse into their way of living – and maybe a cup of
buttertea in one of their tents made of black yak hair. The
picturesque lake of Tsomoriri, which changes its sapphire blue
color with the sun and the salty Tsokar are other attractions
along the trek. The area is also an important wildlife sanctuary, harboring
marmots, snow leopards, kiangs (wild asses), as well as various species
of birds. |

STOK KANGARI CLIMB
(Trekking Peak) |
Stok Kangri is one
of the most beautiful peaks in Ladakh. By Ladakhis it is called
“Kanglachan”, meaning “view of all the mountains”. The climb is
technically not difficult and requires no special mountaineering
skills. This is a great chance climbing a 6150m mountain in less
than a week, not possible in any other part of Asia. The summit
provides spectacular views of the Karakoram Range including K2
and the Saser peaks.

TREKKING FROM
LAMAYURU TO CHILLING |
The valley
of Sham, in the lower part of Ladakh, is celebrated for its
beauty and richness during the harvest. This trek follows the
old caravan route to Lamayuru, which diverges from the Kargil –
Leh road at the Phatu La. According to legend, Lamayuru was once
filled by a lake, which miraculously disappeared by the hand of
Lotsava Naropa. The monastery at Lamayuru, built in the 10th
century, is one of the oldest in Ladakh, and is of the Kargyu
sect of Tibetan Buddhism. This trek is unique in that it offers
one the opportunity to see not only the many natural beauties of
Ladakh, but also some of its most famous monasteries. The trail
reveals many magnificent view of snow capped Mt.Photoksar (5685
m) and the confluence of the two mighty rivers of the Ladakh
region. (Indus River and ZanskarRiver) |

TREKKING FROM

The ancient Buddhist kingdom of Zanskar is hidden
deep in the western reaches of the great Himalayas. For most of
the year, the high passes are inaccessible because of snow,
making the frozen Zanskar River the only way of transport by
walking. Villages nestled high on cliffs, the greenest of fields
where peas and buckwheat are grown, and ancient monasteries are
just some of the attractions on this spectacular trek. |
